I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Industrial Design. After studying in Italy, driving across the US, and interning for start ups and corporations, I am now living in Chicago.
I balance my day job with personal creative work, like sewing and cooking, anything to keep learning. I continue to work on a freelance basis. This has allowed me to work on other cool projects, from patent pending products to emerging brands.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to decipher the content or pieces and assemble them in a compelling way in order to solve the problem. I do several iterations on each point and usually end up refining the one I find most captivating.
For me, design is power. It's about making an audience feel a way they didn't expect. It's about communicating effectively. It's about changing the way we do ordinary tasks. Ultimately, it’s about creating a positive and innovative experience.
